Khush (Vipin Mishra Project)
This was a wonderful project done for the very talented Music Director, Singer -Song writer Vipin Mishra. When he was releasing his EP 'Khush', he wanted an illustration to represent the thought of his song. The song is about two lovers growing apart over time and one asking if the other is happy now? Did he find what he was looking for? Did she end up completing the love story in her mind wherever she is?
After hearing the song, I chose to illustrate two swallows flying apart because swallows symbolize love and commitment. A small breaking heart in the negative space enhances the theme of the song.
